![]() ![]() Muldrotha can also just voltron people to death. You could load the deck up with more aggressive creatures like ], ], ] & ], etc. ![]() If you want to win with combat that's fine but then you should be considering ways to make combat cloe out a game quickly. We have some lifegain, combo and value-oriented midrange decks.ĭo you think that my list misses some essential cards or has some unnecessary cards? I would really appreciate to receive some feedback and input from you to help with my issues.Īs this deck is one of my most favorite decks I don't have a budget in mind but I would like to keep new purchases below $250. My meta is really divers but we try to match the power level for each game. Moreover it bothers me that it's really hard to close out a game because I couldn't become a hindrance fast enough. I often find myself in a spot where Muldrotha gets removed or I have not the right interaction piece at hand. I'd like to address my issue that I experience playing my list: It feels so slow and clumsy. After I feel that I would eventually run out of gas I play Muldrotha and recur cards from my graveyard. My game plan is to ramp a lot and then drop removal or stax pieces. With the time I included many upgrades and refined the list to the point where it is today. I'm sure you are running Eternal Witness already but I would be running ], ] and ] as well.I'm playing my Muldrotha decks for years and am enjoying it since the first day. Cards like ], ], ], etc are just too good and fit too well with what you want to do anyway (self-mill and recur) to not run. There aren't really good permanent replacements for cards like ] or ]. You should be packing a recursion package in your decklist that supports and compliments Muldrotha's ability while also making sure you can still use your graveyard as a second hand even if she isn't on the battlefield. So purposefully playing sub-optimal solutions purely because they are permanents rather than instant/sorcery is probably wrong way to do things. Knowing how powerful she is, people are going to hold up removal to make sure she stays off the table and in the command zone. Bottom line is Muldrotha is going to experience a lot of heat at the card table. Honestly, I think falling down the rabbit hole of only playing permanent solutions because you are banking your whole strategy on Muldrotha's ability is unwise. ![]()
